Home Bargains’ £4 spray makes hair ‘so shiny it looks like glass’ – and is normally £20

Home Bargains sells a deep conditioning hair spray that shoppers say is “as good” as a more expensive brand, Color Wow. The budget retailer recently added bottles of Glossie’s Almond Infused Hair Mask sprays to UK shelves.

The product usually retails at £20. But Home Bargains can pick one up for just £3.99 in stores and online.

The hair mask spray promises to provide ‘nourishment and shine’. It was also formulated with “deep conditioning technology”.

An online product description says: “Glossie specializes in professional beauty technologies that help you shine. Meticulously curated and developed by our skilled team, the Glossie product line is an extension of the salon experience.

“These products, born from the needs and aspirations of Glossie customers. bring a touch of salon magic to daily beauty routines.”

Shoppers compared the £3.99 Hair Mask Spray to Color Wow’s Dream Coat Supernatural Spray. On Facebook, one shopper described the Home Bargains spray as a “wow color copy for shiny hair”.

According to Color Wow, its Dream Coat Supernatural spray lasts 72 hours—or for two to three shampoos. “The spray promotes sleek and long-lasting bottle-like hair,” adds the brand.

Both products include water (aqua), glycerin, phenoxyethanol and chamomile essential oil. Home Bargains also sells Glossie Plex Shampoo and Conditioner – each for £2.99.
