Rishi Sunak’s ‘secret’ Range Rovers spotted in Nuneaton amid ‘flashing blue lights’

The Prime Minister made a flying visit to our area today – and it’s got people talking. Locals saw “lots of blue lights” and “secret” Range Rovers in Nuneaton today as Rishi Sunak traveled.

A cavalcade of cars as well as motorbikes was flagged down Coventry Road earlier today, Tuesday 28 May. Curious people have taken to social media to ask about other sightings of the “secret” Range Rovers.

Heavy police presence was also seen making its way through other parts of the city. It is understood to have been Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, although he was not on an official visit. That came instead after ringing in nearby Hinckley, including Market Bosworth.

Visited Dr Luke Evans, the town’s MP, at Market Bosworth Bowls Club. But disappointingly his journey down the other side of the A5 did not include a stop at Nuneaton or Bedworth – two seats he will be hoping the Tories can keep at the next general election.

The neighborhood is no stranger to political upheaval in the run-up to the nation going to the polls. David Cameron has made several visits to Nuneaton, including in 2016.
