Leeds United face ‘Hot Summer’, players ‘definitely going’ identified

Leeds United are facing a “hot summer” and a host of players will “definitely leave”, it has been claimed in France, following their failure to win promotion.

The Whites lost the richest game in football at the weekend when they went down to Southampton in the Championship play-off final and could now have a big impact on the coming months.

According to French publication Foot Mercato, Leeds are facing “a very complicated situation” financially due to the payments they still have to make for players.

The Whites are claimed to be heading for “a hot summer” with Archie Gray, Georginio Rutter and Willy Gnonto “definitely off”.

Crysencio Summerville is also being linked with an exit amid interest from Premier League clubs.

Leeds will be desperate to return to the Premier League next season and face a balancing act between selling stars and keeping a strong enough squad.

Farke’s men amassed over 90 points in the Championship but a late-season slump in form and Summerville cost them dearly.
