New weather map reveals the exact date when scorching 23C will hit Coventry

A new weather map has revealed when scorching 23C heat will hit the country. With heavy rain showers expected to continue to hit Coventry over the next 48 hours, next week will be much warmer.

The latest WXCharts heat map shows the mercury jumped to 23C on Wednesday June 5, The Mirror reports. But locally, the Met Office has predicted even more rain this half term holiday.




There have been thunderstorms in our region today (May 29) but the latest report predicts a few “isolated heavy showers” this afternoon. However, it is set to feel warm in the sun.

Tomorrow (May 30) will be a bit cooler with more rain, but as we head into the weekend it will warm up. The forecast for Friday to Sunday says there will be “periods of warm sunshine, occasional dark clouds and light winds”.
