Sheffield, who shoots and stabs, sees the second accused man

A second man has been charged after shots were fired and a woman stabbed at an estate in Sheffled.

The incident happened in White Thorns View, Batemoor, at 11.20pm on Monday (May 13). An altercation is said to have taken place between a group of men and a 41-year-old woman, where the woman suffered a suspected stabbing.



The shootings are believed to have taken place after that altercation. Fortunately, the woman’s injuries are not considered life-threatening or life-altering, and no one was hurt by the spill.

Lewis Aghour, 23, of Dawnlands Close, was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life and wounding with intent. He was charged, remanded in custody and appeared at Sheffield Magistrates’ Court on Monday (May 27). Aghour will next appear at Sheffield Crown Court on June 25, 2024.

On Friday, May 17, Daniel Waterfall, of no fixed address, was charged with possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of an offensive weapon and wounding with intent. He will next appear at Sheffield Crown Court on June 4, 2024.
