Adults can go to Knowsley Safari Park for free, but there is a catch

Adults can go to Knowsley Safari Park for free – but there’s a catch.

One adult per car can enjoy all the safari has to offer, but only on Father’s Day weekend, from Saturday 15 June to Sunday 16. Dads can enter for free to enjoy a wild day out with the kids, but if he prefers the day to himself then mum can bring them and ride for free as the offer is for one adult in each car to ride for free with a full paying child.

The offer comes after a yak named Harry celebrated becoming a father after mum Mila welcomed the young male yak on April 25. The owners say the new calf has a cheeky personality and shows signs of being a confident and independent yak.

The safari is full of new life following the birth of a yak calf and a young southern white rhino, as well as the arrival of new Andean bears, Bahia and Chui, who live at Bear Country on the Foot Safari. There’s plenty more to see on the Foot Safari too, including meerkats, giraffes, red river pigs and Amur tigers, which our reporter Rebecca Koncienzcy enjoyed when she went with her family. You can read her review here.

Ian Duke, Marketing Manager at Knowsley Safari, said: “Our free Father’s Day experience is a win-win for everyone. It’s a great day out to remember, a fabulous gift for those wild and adventurous dads and of course the kids go. to love him as much as he does.”

Bookings must be made in advance online and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. To find out more and take advantage of the free Knowsley Safari Dads offer, book here.
