Cornwall College is in mourning following the death of DaCosta Cup star Dane Buckley

The Cornwall College and montego Bay the football fraternity is now in mourning after his death dyes Buckley.

Buckley, who represented Cornwall College in the ISSA DaCosta Cup, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday, weeks after undergoing surgery after being shot and wounded in a shooting incident in the Hendon Norwood community of St. James.

The 18-year-old has represented Cornwall College for the past three seasons after transferring from Mount Pleasant Football Academy and was expected to return for his final season of eligibility when the ISSA Dacosta Cup 2024 campaign begins in September. He would have been subjected

Buckley, an attacking midfielder, ended the 2022 season prematurely after breaking his leg but returned in 2023 to play a major role in the record twelve-time champions qualifying for the quarter-finals of the DaCosta Cup and ISSA knockout competitions Ben Francis Cup.
