Jones was named the RPA Women’s Player of the Year

Leicester Tigers center Meg Jones has been awarded the 2024 Rugby Players Association Premiership Player of the Year.

Jones was voted on by her peers and named the winner at last night’s RPA awards in London.

The Red Rose star was influential throughout her debut season in a Tigers jersey, racking up 12 tackles and leading the team in points with 69 from 12 games.

Earlier this month, Jones was awarded the Leicester Tigers Player’s Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year awards at the club’s Awards Night and Club Social awards respectively.

Currently training with the GB 7s ahead of possible selection for the Paris 2024 Olympics, Jones was also recently selected to represent the team in the upcoming HSBC SVNS series in Madrid.
