‘I look at the team and you still ask questions about who is the leader’: Wayne Rooney on Manchester United’s core problems

Wayne Rooney has spoken out after the whirlwind season Manchester United have just endured. I think it's always been that way. I don't think he was ever a big talker on the field. When he's going through a tough time, or you want him to work a little bit harder, then the senior players have to ask him that. Rooney continued: “That's the one thing I would say I don't see. Every time Manchester United concede a goal, their heads quickly drop and you almost think there's no turning back to get back into the game."
