Leicester Premier League Relegation Odds: 4/9 down

Former Leicester City player Simon Grayson has shared his thoughts on who he thinks will be relegated from the Premier League this season, with his former side the current favorites to go down.

Leicester City have been priced at 4/9 to be relegated from the Premier League next season after being promoted to the top of the Championship in 2023/24. The Foxes dominated the Championship in 2023/24, picking up 97 points to claim the league title and a swift return to the Premier League. However, they are the current relegation favorites in 2024/25.

Speaking exclusively to Freebets.com, Grayson, who plyed his trade with the Midlands outfit between 1992 and 1997, said: “I think it will depend on the summer and what points come in. There are rumors that a few other clubs could get points and there are strong rumors that Leicester could get some, so that could be why they are favourites.

“It will be an interesting summer to see how the points teams start on the first day of the season and this will be a better way to keep your money!

“The gap between the three teams that got promoted and the rest of the Premier League was huge, as you’ve seen this year. The gap won’t be reduced much, but it will help teams get promoted if others get points deducted. It will be a case of viewing this space, don’t waste your money yet.”
