Brent Wyndham: WA police officer who shot Yamatji woman JC gives up chance to keep identity secret

The Washington police officer who fatally shot the Yamatji woman, JC, will not fight to keep his name secret after failing to appeal a decision by the state’s highest court to keep his identity made public.

Earlier this month, the WA Supreme Court agreed to lift the suppression order that was placed on Constable First Class Brent Wyndham following his arrest for murdering the mother of a child in September 2019.
