A390 crash: Truck overturns after collision with van near Liskeard

A lorry has overturned on its side after colliding with a van near Liskeard. Police were called to the A390 near Hendra Park at 2.30pm this afternoon (Friday 31 May).

Firefighters and paramedics also went to the scene. Police said a man suffered minor injuries in the collision.

At the time of writing (4.15pm), the A390 remains closed in both directions. Traffic is slow in the area and drivers should find alternate routes.

Devon and Cornwall Police said: “Police were called at 2.30pm today, May 31, to reports of a collision between a lorry and a van on the A390 near Hendra Park, Liskeard.

“The HGV has overturned and ended up on its side. Ambulance and fire are in attendance. One man has suffered minor injuries. The road has been closed in both directions.”
