Bluey heads to Coventry with a special appearance at Godiva Festival

Children are in for a treat as a much-loved CBeebies character will soon be heading to Coventry. Bluey will be joining the fun at the Godiva Festival in July.

Children will get the chance to see Bluey at the highly anticipated event at War Memorial Park. She will be joined by her little sister Bingo.




Organizers say children’s TV favorites will welcome young fans on Sunday, July 7. Children will have the chance to meet Bluey and Bingo on the family plot.

Godiva Festival will return to War Memorial Park for three days of incredible live music from Friday 5th July to Sunday 7th July. Crowds will be treated to a star-studded line-up for the 25th year, including Paloma Faith, Richard Ashcroft, Beverley Knight and Eurovision star Sam Ryder.

Thousands of people are set to descend on the city for the three-day event which promises to be “bigger and better than ever”. Organizers said there would be plenty on offer for young and old, with a range of stalls as well as thrilling fairground rides and delicious food.

Families will also be able to enjoy the Dr Ranjs Teddy Bear Hospital as well as the SK Schlomos Beatbox for Kids. Councilor Abdul Salam Khan said he hoped the event would be “truly unforgettable”.

A spokesperson for Godiva Festival said: “We have a very exciting announcement that we know our younger fans will love! Joining us on Sunday July 7th are Bluey and her little sister Bingo, who will be joining us at the Family Field meet and greeting the crowd at intervals throughout the day.”
