EM Acoustics is heading north to PLASA Leeds

UK – EM Acoustics will return to the Royal Armories in May for the 2024 edition of PLASA Focus in Leeds. After a very busy 12 months, which has included the launch of the R5, a return to Glastonbury’s Acoustic Stage and the continued expansion of its production facility, the management team at EM Acoustics are heading to the northern edition of entertainment technology’s biggest show from the UK with a lot to share.

Visitors to PLASA Leeds can expect to see some of the familiar favorites from the EM Acoustics range plus the Reference series, including the new R5.

“The R5 has proven to be an extremely popular product; an instant classic, in fact,” explains Greg Clarke, EM Acoustics brand manager. “Following a highly successful ISE, we are focused on expanding our production capacity to meet growing demand and continue our R&D efforts to identify more innovation opportunities and further develop our product line. “

“Like the rest of the Reference family, the R5 offers very high-quality point-source sound, exceptional headroom and wonderful musicality,” continues Clarke. “The feedback we’ve gotten from sound designers and engineers is that they find the expanded versatility of the smaller box to be extremely beneficial as part of broader design ecosystems.”

Indeed, the past year has seen some high-profile installations of the EM Acoustics Reference and EMS series loudspeakers, including Treetop Golf, an immersive adventure golf chain and full front-to-back installations at the Theater Royal, Plymouth and Lyric Theatre. , Hammersmith. The second half of 2024 promises to be just as productive.

“We’ll be returning to Glastonbury’s Acoustic Stage this year with the HALO series and there are some other major projects in the works that we’ll be able to share news about soon,” says Clarke. “We also expect to announce a new product later this year, so we encourage spectators to stop by the PLASA Focus booth to find out more.
