A man breaks his leg after a pair push him onto a London Underground train and platform

A man broke his leg after a man and woman pushed him off the platform at a London Underground station, causing him to fall under a train. During the attack at Canning Town station, the male attacker punched the victim several times in the face, breaking his nose.

British Transport Police (BTP) have released CCTV images of a man and woman connected to the attack who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.




The attack took place on Thursday, May 16, around 7 p.m., when the victim was using an escalator in the station. The woman pushed him back causing him to stumble.

When he reached the platform, he was pushed from behind by a man, causing him to fall between the platform and the train, resulting in a broken leg.
