New water park opens just an hour from Liverpool

A new water sports center and water park, full of water based activities, opened this half term.

Wild Shore Blackpool now welcomes visitors to try everything from stand-up paddle boarding to kayaking and wakeboarding – the sport where a cable pulls you across a lake as if you were surfing or snowboarding on water and is gaining popularity at quite a rate of the sea

The park also features a floating playground where visitors can run, jump and slide on the Ninja Warrior inspired course. With endless fun obstacles, thrill seekers will get “the perfect balance and nerve challenge for a wide range of ages and abilities.”

Sessions can be booked individually or in groups, including families, with the appealing choice of hiring the entire park exclusively for birthday parties. On top of all this, Wild Shore Blackpool offers breathtaking Ringo rides, allowing people to take turns sailing up and down the lake in inflatable cars for an unforgettable thrill ride full of bumps and splashes.

Additionally, open water swimming and stand-up paddleboarding lessons are available for those looking to learn new skills. The fun comes with the necessary safety precautions as there are minimum age and height restrictions for some activities, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Blackpool Wake Park, which had been in operation for over a decade, closed its doors in 2022. The adventure park was acquired by Wild Shore, which also has a site in Delamere, Cheshire.
