Murder 198 in Point Fortin | News Extra

Brent Lewis took a cell phone call, walked out to the roadway, and died.

A car appeared, and the occupants shot him dead.

It happened at around 8.45pm at Techier Village, Point Fortin.

Lewis, 38, was described as self-employed.

Police were told that Lewis was near the village community center when he got a call and walked into the road.

A Nissan Tiida, heavily tinted, pulled up.

Two gunmen came for Lewis. The motive is not immediately known.

The killing brings to at least 198 the number of homicides for the year.
