Police have released an update on a stabbing in Coventry after a man was seriously injured

Police have issued an update after cordoning off a Coventry street following a stabbing. For most of yesterday (June 1), police tape was thrown around part of Monkswood Crescent.

Patrol cars acted as sentinels while officers canvassed the area, looking into the sewers. West Midlands Police confirmed officers responded to reports of a stabbing.



A man, who has not been identified but was in his 30s, was left with a serious arm injury. A woman, who has not been named but was in her 30s, was arrested.

Today (June 2), the force issued an update on the investigation. A West Midlands Police spokesman said: “The 30-year-old woman has been released on bail while inquiries continue.”
