Hampton by Hilton statement on the new Nuneaton hotel as the sign goes up

Hampton by Hilton has provided an update on its new hotel in Nuneaton as official signage has now appeared. The towering seven-storey building in what was the old Co-op car park now has the official Hampton by Hilton branding.

Passers-by will have noticed many changes to the building, with much of the scaffolding removed. Glass was also installed on the main windows.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council previously said construction work on the building should be finished by June and the building is due to be handed over to the operator to be “fitted out” before opening.

In a request for staff to work at the hotel, it should be open by September.

CoventryLive has asked both the borough council and Hampton by Hilton to see if construction is on schedule and will be handed over by June.

The borough council would not comment and a spokesman for Hampton by Hilton said: “We look forward to welcoming guests to the hotel and expect it to open later this summer.”

Once open, the hotel will boast 145 rooms, including family rooms. It will have a glass entrance, with a reception area opening onto lifts, stairs and also a ‘hub bar’.
