Although currently “sold out” on their website, the campground offers guests to stay in a unique dome, dubbed the “Chateau Under the Stars.” The geodesic accommodation takes glamping to the extreme as it includes a shower, kitchen, wood burner and French breakfast for up to six people.

The family also provides a welcome basket of local delicacies, fishing and cycling equipment and even free use of the castle’s games room. Those who wish to accept the camping package have two options; £350 for guests to sleep in one double bed for two guests and the other with one double bed and two single beds. A dome costs £350, but for both domes – a maximum of four adults and two children – it’s £600 per night.

Staying in the castle itself is more expensive, with the Evening Standard reporting a minimum night costing £5,850. Weddings are Strawbridge’s biggest moneymaker, as they offer full use of their 12-acre grounds and 14-room home.
