The A30 was closed near Camborne after the collision

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after a collision with a car on a major road in Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the force attended the incident at around 12.20pm BST on Sunday near Camborne in Chapel Hill, Cambrose.

The road is closed in both directions, police confirmed.

It is the second crash on the A30 in Cornwall on Sunday. The other incident involved another motorcyclist being taken to hospital following a collision involving a tractor.
