A Cornwall man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a rollover crash

CORNWALL — A single-vehicle crash late Thursday night led to the arrest of a Cornwall man on suspicion of driving under the influence.

At approximately 9:32 p.m. on May 31, state troopers were dispatched to a rollover accident on West Street near Cross Road.

Upon arrival, they found a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado overturned in a ditch.

The driver, identified as Brad-Leigh Grace, 29, of Cornwall, was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident.

He suffered suspected moderate injuries and was transported to Porter Medical Center for treatment.

While interacting with Grace at the crash site, troopers noticed signs of impairment.

After conducting a field check, they took Grace into custody on suspicion of DUI.

The Silverado sustained significant damage, with the front, hood, roof, windshield, wheel and side all damaged.
