Our Yorkshire Farm star Reuben Owen has a ‘disaster’ as he says goodbye to his ex

Our Yorkshire Farm star Reuben Owen said goodbye to his farming friends for another year, but not before encountering ‘total disaster’. In the gripping final episode of Amanda Owen’s eldest son’s Channel 5 spin-off Reuben: Life In The Dales, viewers watched 20-year-old Reuben deal with more problems alongside Sarah Dow’s ex and boyfriend Tommy.

Even the appearances of brothers and colleagues from Our Yorkshire Farm, Sidney Owen and Miles Owen, were fraught with complications. At the beginning of the episode, Reuben, who runs a tractor business from Muker in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, was facing difficulties. “Looks like everything is going wrong for Reuben and his friends,” viewers were informed.

Reuben was trying to operate one of his tractors when it suddenly caught fire, Sarah pointed out. She warned him, “It’s spitting water and smoking on the bottom of the radiator. That could be the burning smell.”

Later, Reuben and Sarah accidentally break the ground, resulting in an expensive repair. Reuben commented: “It’s a total disaster. I might consider a career in truck driving after this.” reports Express.

Another calamity struck when Reuben discovered that the tractor he had spent hours decorating was broken and beyond repair. This forced Reuben to dismantle his hard work and make a last minute change for the Christmas show.

It all worked out in the end, though, and the group celebrated last year and the next. Reuben Owen gathered his brother Miles, sidekick Tommy and ex-flame Sarah to say: “It doesn’t seem like long since we were last here but I thought we’d have a few boxes to celebrate.”

He then engaged Sarah in conversation, asking her, “What’s your favorite moment? We’ve had a fair few meetings this year, haven’t we.” Sarah recalled, replying, “I think my favorite moment was finally learning to drive.”
