Lidl reveals over 50,000 meals donated to people in Ealing in 2023 – EALING.NEWS – The Voice of Ealing 7 towns

Budget supermarket Lidl has revealed that in 2023 it has given £13.5m of food, funding and toys to its local communities, including more than 50,000 meals to people in Ealing.

In its first Community Impact Report, Lidl said more than 90% of its support goes to organizations that help and support children, young people and young families.

Through its partnership with the NSPCC, it raised £1.77m in 2023 to support the running of Childline and says it is on track to raise more than £10m by 2025.

Lidl, which has seven branches in the district, has donated more than 50,000 meals to local charities and good causes in 2023 through its partnership with Neighbourly.

Speaking to EALING.NEWS, a Lidl spokesperson said: “Lidl works with Neighborly to donate surplus food through the Feed It Back scheme, as well as food labeled with the trusted ‘Good To Give’ brand being donated of customers.”
