Manchester City draw conclusions on exit talk with Jack Grealish – Conversations held

Following conversations between Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola and Jack Grealish himself, a new report has revealed the conclusion regarding the player’s future.

The recently concluded 2023/24 campaign was a personally challenging one for Grealish, despite coming away with a third successive Premier League winners’ medal following a treble-winning season with the club.

A series of injuries in the early stages of the campaign, as well as during the club’s decisive game, along with off-the-pitch problems and challenges in his personal life saw his opportunities under Pep Guardiola slip away.

The arrival of Jeremy Doku in a big-money move last summer added extra pressure on Grealish when he was called up, while some media outlets concluded that the Belgian’s signing could ultimately lead to a exit for the former Aston Villa man.

However, a new report has detailed the conclusion Manchester City have now reached regarding Jack Grealish’s “uncertain” future, with some going so far as to suggest Bayern Munich could be interested in his signature.

It is further detailed, following similar media reports, that City manager Pep Guardiola and the player have held “positive discussions” before the forward joins England for international action in the summer.

Despite retaining the signature of Jack Grealish, along with the expected development of Jeremy Doku next season, Manchester City are unlikely to make any more wide-open signings this summer following their deal for Brazil international Savio.

The Etihad Stadium bosses moved quickly during the January transfer window to secure a deal for the teenage winger from ESTAC Troyes as he continued an exemplary campaign on loan with Girona in La Liga.

Savio’s performances for Girona saw the top-flight Spanish club record a third-place finish in the league last season, booking themselves for a UEFA Champions League campaign next season in 2024/25.
