YouGov poll predicts Green Party could overtake Conservatives in Ealing Southall into second place – EALING.NEWS – The Voice of Ealing 7 towns

The Green Party could overtake the Tories in Ealing Southall into second place, according to a new poll for the 2024 general election by YouGov.

The poll found that overall Labor will have a majority of 194 seats in Parliament for the general election on 4 July 2024, with all three Ealing constituencies also remaining Labour.

In a shock for the Tories, the Green Party could come second in Ealing Southall, trailing the Tories by 0.5%. According to the poll, Deirdre Costigan for Labor is expected to get 60.6% of the vote. The Conservatives are currently shown getting 13.6%, while the Green Party is predicted to get 13.1%.

In Ealing Central and Acton, Dr Rupa Huq is predicted to get 63.9% of the vote for Labour, with the Conservatives second on 14.1%.

In Ealing North, James Murray is predicted to get 57.3% of the vote for Labour, with the Tories on 17.1%.
