Obituary of William Hach – Sheffield Lake, OH (1951-2016)

LAKE SHEFFIELD – Wm. Neil Hach, 64, of Sheffield Lake, formerly of Avon Lake, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016, following a one-year battle with cancer. He was born May 6, 1951 in Cleveland and graduated in 1969 from Avon Lake High School and attended Lorain County Community College, Ohio State University and Culinary School. Neil was a cook and retired from Independence Village in Avon Lake.

He was known for his sarcastic sense of humor and will be missed by his mother, Eileen C. (nee Gallagher) and sister Ellen “Mitzi” Hach, both of Avon Lake; granddaughter Tara Winslow; great-grandson Cole. He was preceded in death by his father, William, and his brother, Dennis.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106. A prayer service will be held Sunday, February 28th at 3:00 PM at Busch Funeral Home with Fr. Tom Pjak officiating. Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 163 Avon Belden Rd, Avon Lake, from 3 to 7 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 28.
