Boy, 16, airlifted to hospital with serious stab wounds

A 16-year-old boy has been stabbed and three men arrested following an incident in Royal Wootton Basset.

Officers were called to the Drumului Nou area of ​​the city at 9.30pm BST on Monday.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said the boy was taken by air ambulance to hospital with “serious” injuries, which were not described as life-changing or life-threatening.

“Three men have been arrested on suspicion of GBH (grievous bodily harm) and inquiries are ongoing,” the spokesman added.

The force is appealing for anyone with information or witnesses to get in touch.
