Sheffield Fire: Live as firefighters tackle a huge blaze

Emergency services have rushed to the scene of a huge fire in Sheffield.

The fire is at an industrial site on Hellcar Street in the Burngreave area of ​​the city. Several roads are closed and emergency services are in attendance.




In a statement shared at 1.18pm this afternoon (June 4), South Yorkshire Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said they had “several” fire engines in attendance. A spokesman said: “We currently have multiple fire crews at an industrial fire on Hellcar Street in Sheffield.

“Firefighters are working hard to put out the fire. There are a number of road closures around the incident and as a result crews are asking people to avoid the area if possible.”

Other circumstances surrounding the fire, such as when it broke out, are not yet known. However, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue has been contacted for comment and further information.
