Arbury Road crash police are knocking on doors late at night amid inquiries in Grove Road

Police carried out door-to-door inquiries in the early hours of this morning following a serious crash on a main road in Nuneaton. They have been knocking on doors in Grove Road since midnight yesterday morning (June 3).

Warwickshire Police confirmed the action was linked to a crash on nearby Arbury Road. This resulted in part of the main road being blocked for more than five hours.



A woman in her 50s was left with serious injuries after her red Vauxhall collided with a black Seat. It damaged several other cars on the main road near the Nisa Local supermarket and Little Lola’s flower shop.

She was treated at the scene before being taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham. A Warwickshire Police spokesman said she was still being treated in hospital.

Meanwhile, investigations into the collision, which happened at around 10.30pm on Sunday night (June 2), are continuing. It led to the launch of a public appeal.
