Sheffield Utd boss Wilder unhappy with England staff handling Arblaster

The midfielder made his full Premier League debut in yesterday’s 3-3 draw with Fulham.

“It’s a difficult one for him because he’s a footballer, but that part of the game we’re excited about,” Wilder said.

“He played the full 90 minutes for England on Wednesday night at elite level and I was delighted he got a cap. I’d like to think he’ll be protected a little more considering everyone knew he would. home debut in the Premier League at the weekend, which is a pretty big deal for his home club and the club he loves.

“He loves playing for his country as well and maybe that was a reason towards the end of the game that he quit. Emotionally, I know what it does and what it takes away from you, but I thought his performance, especially the second half, was one. of our better performances with the ball.”
