Sadness as Stratford River Festival is ‘Postponed’

A well-known festival in Stratford-upon-Avon has been ‘postponed’. The 2024 Stratford River Festival was expected to return this year after a four-year hiatus, but now it will not take place.

New data has not yet been confirmed. Festival organizers say the event could not take place due to “unforeseen operational and time constraints”.

The event was supposed to take place from Friday 5th July to Sunday 7th July. The River Festival attracts thousands of people each year to the recreation ground parallel to the River Avon.

“Despite our best efforts, unpredictable time and operational constraints meant that this year’s event could not go ahead. We understand that this news will come as a disappointment to many, including us.

“The River Festival holds a special place in the hearts of locals and tourists, and we share the disappointment of not being able to celebrate with the community. If we are able to hold this event in the future, this will be announced via our social platforms. .”
