Two people have been arrested for criminal damage after red paint littered Bradford seafront

POLICE have arrested two people for criminal damage after a bank in Bradford city center was daubed with red paint earlier this week.

The incident, which saw dirty red paint smeared on the side of the building, main doors and Barclays ATM on Market Street, happened early on Monday morning.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police investigating an incident of criminal damage at Barclays Bank on Monday 3 June in Market Street, Bradford, have made two arrests.

“A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and remains in police custody at this time.

“A 54-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and has been bailed pending further enquiries.

“Inquiries under way by Bradford CID”.
