Body found in search for missing Leeds United fan

Allyn Grayson, 50, was last seen leaving a city center pub after attending the game against Southampton at Elland Road last Saturday (May 4).

Police searching for a missing Leeds United fan have confirmed a body has been found.

Allyn Grayson, 50, was last seen leaving a city center pub after attending the game against Southampton at Elland Road last Saturday (May 4).

He was spotted on CCTV a short time later and his disappearance sparked huge appeals from Leeds fans to help find him.

The body of a man was discovered on Thursday morning (May 9) close to Hunslet Road in the Rothwell area.

Official identification has not yet taken place, but his family has been informed.
