Lambeth Council is inviting residents to share their views on their SEND services

Lambeth is inviting residents to share their views as a parent or carer of a child or young person with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) through the Lambeth/NHS survey.

In a statement they said:

Services for children and young people with special educational needs or disabilities (SEND) and their families must be of high quality.

The Lambeth Council and NHS Integrated Care Council survey launches on June 3 to collect information that will help us improve care and services in Lambeth.

Your feedback will help ensure that the voices of parents, carers and families are included in this year’s review of local SEND education, health and social care.

This survey is your chance to share your views on how things are working for you and your child/children with SEND. The information will help us identify what needs to be improved in the lives of Lambeth children and young people with SEND.

We are also working on our SEND and Alternative Provision Strategy 2024 – 2030 and want to ensure that families’ voices are at the heart of our decision-making.

Shape our SEND services

Last year we ran this survey for the first time and have promised to run it every year to keep information about SEND and young people up to date so that our plans can change to meet people’s changing needs in the future.

If you have more than one child with SEND and would like to express your views about each of them, please complete a survey for each child.

After the consultation has concluded, an anonymised summary of the information will be published on the Lambeth SEND Local Offer page. No personal or individual details will be shared.
