Jobs retained as firm buys fifth care home

Wakefield-headquartered company Strong Life Care has bought its fifth purpose-built care home, Hesslewood House Care Home in Hessle.

The multi-million pound purchase was made possible by a finance package provided by NatWest.

The care home will provide residential aged care and specialist dementia care for the area.

Its purchase it not only expands the Strong Life Care portfolio but ensures the continuity of 65 jobs.

In addition, the deal includes the refinancing of the company’s four existing care homes located in Barnsley, Tuxford and Wakefield, further strengthening its position in the healthcare sector.

Harpreet Banwait, Managing Director and Founder of Strong Life Care, established the business in 2010.

His inspiration came from a personal journey as his own family faced challenges in finding quality care for their grandfather. In 2010, the company acquired its first care home, Thornhill House, in Barnsley.
