Prince William joins the Newquay beach volleyball game

The Prince of Wales joined a volleyball match on Thursday at one of Britain’s most popular beaches in Newquay, Cornwall.

The Prince of Wales was visiting Fistral Beach to meet Holywell Bay and Newquay Surf Lifesaving Clubs as well as members of the RNLI who patrol the beach.

The warm spring weather drew large crowds and the prince met several members of the public.

One of them said “God save the King and best wishes to Kate” – both of whom are undergoing cancer treatment.
