Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber Design Patent Revealed

Patent images of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 Bobber, a bike that could also be called the Shotgun 350, have surfaced online and it looks very similar to the one seen in earlier tests.

The 350cc bobber has ‘mini ape-hanger’ handlebars and although there is a passenger seat in the patent drawing, it is likely to be removable and could be offered as an optional extra like the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650. it seems to have same headlamps, tail lamps, fuel tank, rear view mirrors, front mudguard and side panels as Royal Enfield Classic 350 but likely to have LED indicators.

The upcoming Bobber 350 is likely to be powered by the same 350cc single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled, J-platform engine as the Classic 350, which produces 20PS and 27Nm. However, it can receive a slightly sportier tuning.

Hardware-wise, the bike remains the same as the Classic 350. Built on the same double-cradle frame, it will likely feature the same telescopic fork and twin shocks. The braking system should also be the same, with a 300mm disc at the front and a 270mm disc at the rear with dual-channel ABS. However, the Bobber 350 may have a different rear mudguard than the Classic 350 and alloy tires with spoked rims.

There are reports that the next Royal Enfield Bobber 350 may be called the Goan Classic 350, but we won’t be surprised if Royal Enfield calls it the Shotgun 350.
