Stanleys Court ‘masked knife robber asks staff to bag everything’

A hooded robber with a knife hidden in his shirt raided a shop in Warwickshire, it is claimed. It is alleged he entered a shop in Stanleys Court in Leamington Spa.

Police say he lifted his shirt to reveal a bladed weapon and ordered staff to put “everything” into his carrier bag. It was filled with cash and cigarettes before the suspect left the store and rode away on a bicycle, reports said.

Investigating officers now want to catch the man. He was described as white and wearing a black coat with a hood up and a black balaclava, blue gloves.

He carried a blue bag for life. It struck around 2.30pm on June 3.

“If you were in the area today and saw anything that could help our investigations, particularly if you have CCTV or dashcam footage, please contact us quoting incident 181 of June 3,” a police spokesman said. Warwickshire.
