The man was rushed to hospital after he was found with serious injuries in an apartment

A man was rushed to hospital after he was found with serious injuries in a flat in Trafford on Thursday afternoon (June 6).

Police and paramedics attended the incident at a block of flats on Wardle Road in Sale at around 3.30pm. A man, whose age has not been confirmed, was found seriously injured at the scene.




The Manchester Evening News understands there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances involved. Officers were called to attend to the man’s welfare.

The residential street was cordoned off, along with the entrance to the apartments. Forensic officers were seen collecting evidence and going in and out of the flats throughout Thursday evening.

Police are not currently believed to be looking for any suspects in connection with the incident. The investigation remains ongoing, with a scene in place throughout the evening.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: “At around 3.30pm today (6 June 2024), officers were called to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man in Wardle Road, Sale.

“He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and inquiries are ongoing.”
