Former Aberdeen defender Ash Taylor is leaving for Gibraltar after his spell at Bradford City

Former Aberdeen defender Ash Taylor has signed a two-year deal with FC Bruno’s Magpies in Gibraltar.

The 33-year-old, who leaves for the Gibraltar club after last season at Bradford City, had two spells at Pittodrie before leaving the club in 2021.

He would go on to reunite with former Dons boss Derek McInnes at Kilmarnock before heading south and will now spend next season playing in Gibraltar.

The centre-back previously played for the Reds between 2014 and 2017, before returning from a two-year spell at Northampton Town in 2019.

He then spent the season following his exit from Pittodrie with Walsall before heading back north to Kilmarnock where he would help secure their return to the Premiership.

Taylor, who joins last season’s domestic cup winners, also added that he is excited to embark on the new venture.
