What’s Happening This Week – 7/6/24 – Blooming

Summer came out in a big way this week. We already have the first sunburns of the season in our house and all the complaints that go with them. But we made memories from our first season at our local pool and had more meals than I can count on the patio. I rarely put on shoes these days unless I’m leaving the house and I worry too much about the plants I just planted getting enough water. Oh, the joys of summer!

This week, I’m going to tell you about a musical adventure I’ve been on recently. We’ve got the latest Pay It Forward article for you to enjoy, as well as a short story in Our Voice column, The Lake County Music Guide, good news and local history to kick off the weekend. I feel like it’s a race again. It’s a race to see, do and make as many new memories as possible for the season. It’s a big challenge, isn’t it? Have a great weekend, Lake County!
