Emmerdale fans ‘love it’ as ITV TV bosses share village update

Emmerdale fans have said they “love it” after bosses at the ITV soap shared an update on Thursday.

The long-running drama series has had an army of loyal fans in the more than 50 years it’s been on our screens. During that time, viewers were captivated by a lot of dramatic stories, including murders, adventures and even a plane crash.

And people can even visit Emmerdale if they want, with ‘village’ tours offering behind-the-scenes access to the set.

While the fictional village of the Dales is often the location of dark plots and deadly character exits, it can also look very beautiful.

In a new Instagram update on Thursday, show bosses shared some glorious ‘Emmerdale’ snaps in the sun. The post was simply captioned: “Our village looks lovely in the sun!”

Fans were quick to react to the photos in the comments section as Regan said: “I actually want to live there” and Joanne said: “I’ve just been, I love it.” Linda said: “I went back again in June. I LOVED last year xx’ and Rebecca said: ‘I came last weekend it was the best day ever and it was lovely and sunny… xx’
