Tory election candidate resigns after sharing inappropriate photos of children’s club nights

A Tory election candidate has resigned after being exposed for organizing club nights for children as young as 13 – sharing an image in which the girls appear to have the words ‘exfied’ and ‘b***h’ on their chests .

Adam Gregg, who teamed up with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, organized parties for teenagers. We can reveal the 43-year-old posted inappropriate images on social media showing youngsters in scantily clad school uniforms – and even posted a picture of children kissing.

But he withdrew his candidacy after being confronted by the Mirror. Just minutes before today’s deadline for nominations, he revealed he was standing down – saying “the events were of their time and I can understand how they might be viewed differently in today’s world”.

He is the second Tory election candidate to quit in two days after another quit when The Mirror exposed his lurid sexual comments about women.

In one snap on Gregg’s Facebook, a girl had a message scrawled on her shirt that said “if you want me guys come.” And he once joked about how his teenage club night was promoted at a school with a banner.

Elsewhere, Gregg was pictured online in 2016 holding roses next to the ‘Miss Roadblock’ winner at a children’s night out. And a flyer for the event for 13-17-year-olds in Hull in 2016 asked: “All ladies please turn up stunning!” The £5 event has been billed as having the ‘Best for the it Crowd’, promising the ‘Miss Roadblock 2016’ winner will receive a professional photoshoot and beauty makeover.

Gregg – who was a Tory councilor in Kirklees – stood in the new West Yorkshire seat of Spen Valley against Labour’s Kim Leadbeater, who held a slim majority in the Batley and Spen constituency. Gregg was a director of Roadblock Clubbing and Dance Paradise Promotions, Companies House records show. Both companies are now dissolved.

Jonathan Ashworth, Labour’s shadow paymaster general, said: “Another day another Tory candidate is exposed… This adds to growing concerns about the caliber of candidates Rishi Sunak has been forced into to choose them”.

Gregg appears to have uploaded images from previous teenage club nights as part of an effort to promote a reunion club night in 2016. In a ‘Dance Paradise Memories’ group, a message from Gregg said: ” Were you a Hull teenager in the 2000s? Remember being rocked at Dance Paradise in LA, Heaven & Hell & Position?

“I’m full of up to 2000 high school clubbers. Dance Paradise has run all over the place, but it’s been in Hull where some of our biggest and best parties have taken place!… As the organizer of all these fantastic events, I’m delighted to be launching today thousands of photos and videos of events. of this era.”

On Facebook, Gregg uploaded an image to Facebook – believed to be from an event in 2006 – showing two young girls with what appear to be the words ‘HORN’ and ‘B***H’ written in glow in the dark paint breasts. The picture was tagged in the corner with the “dance paradise reunion” logo.

In another snap uploaded to Gregg’s account, a group of girls posed, including two with bare midriffs in school uniforms. The picture is believed to be from a night out in 2007. And another snap he uploaded showed two girls – with one wearing a school outfit with words scrawled on it, including ‘if you want me boys come’.

The image, believed to be from a night out in 2008, had the ‘Dance Paradise reunion’ logo in the corner. In July 2016, Gregg posted on Facebook about how he was “thinking about all the good times”. In the post, which was accompanied by images of a banner at a school, he wrote: ‘Who remembers David Lister School? Maybe we overstepped the mark by putting a Dance Paradise banner on their gates,” adding: “What do you think?” In a comment below, Gregg added: “haha at lunch time we wanted to get our message across when the kids went back to school surprisingly no teachers said anything!”

Gregg said: “I was a young promoter trying to build a business which became very successful and was one of a number of companies running similar events. If anyone felt that the events they attended, the promotion or the photos from the events were inappropriate, I sincerely apologize. These events were of their time and I can understand how they might be viewed differently in today’s world. I have withdrawn my candidacy from the general election to ensure that this matter does not in any way affect the party’s efforts to win the Spen Valley seat and I would like to thank from the bottom of my heart everyone who helped me during the campaign.”
