Engineering consultancy Wallace Whittle opens in Manchester and Birmingham

Engineering consultancy Wallace Whittle is opening offices in Manchester and Birmingham as part of its UK growth plans.

The firm has a strong focus on Scotland and the Republic of Ireland and is now focusing on expanding its network of regional offices in England. It employs over 140 people across eight regional bases across the UK.

Wallace Whittle’s ongoing projects include Kadans life sciences project in Manchester, The Store Hotel in Oxford, Victoria Infirmary in Northwich and Boddingtons Manchester residential development.

The Manchester office is led by Paul Dean, who has helped lead the expansion of the business in recent years.

He will remain the leader of the firm’s Warrington office, while also running the new town center space.

He said: “Having seen our success in the North West grow over recent years thanks to our well-deserved reputation for quality, innovation and delivery, opening an office in Manchester city center is the next logical step in our expansion as a business.

“With almost 150 team members in Wallace Whittle, we are perfectly placed to deliver quality across a wide range of project types and this new office solidifies our recent growth.”

The Birmingham office will be led by newly appointed director Darren Wright, who brings over 20 years of experience within contractors, local authorities and design consultancy.
