Salford police scene amid serious incident

A resident of flats overlooking the site said: “There is still a large police presence here. There were a lot of sirens and there must have been 15 response vehicles earlier.

“The helicopter also circled for about an hour. Apparently the incident happened in the parking lot. It is still closed.

“There’s blood splattered on the floor.”

We have a reporter en route to the scene now. In the meantime, here are some pictures we sent tonight of the crime scene, including one of a CSI examining what appears to be blood splatter on the parking lot.
