A Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting was held May 11 to celebrate the opening of Next Door Pizza in Rincon Center at 15941 Pomona Rincon Road in Chino Hills.

The new business is owned by Chino Hills resident Jaime Benson and his business partner Brent Miller. I also own Luchador Brewing Company, which is immediately adjacent to Next Door Pizza, sharing a common wall.

Mr. Benson, a 1997 graduate of Ayala High School, said he opened the pizzeria because the pizzerias in Chino Hills either closed or are only takeout.

“We wanted to fill that void by just having a good pie, sandwiches, pasta, ice cold beer and watching some sports,” he said.
