Fenerbahce are reportedly interested in signing Manchester United striker Mason Greenwood.

As reported by The Sun, the Turkish side are considering a move for Greenwood, whose future is uncertain after his loan spell at Getafe came to an end.

United value Greenwood at £50million, but a potential move to Fenerbahce could be hampered by the player’s reluctance to work with Jose Mourinho.

Former United manager Mourinho was appointed as the new manager of Fenerbahce last weekend.

When in charge of United, Mourinho called up Greenwood for United’s pre-season tour of the United States in 2018.

In December of that year, Mourinho handed Greenwood his first competitive senior call-up as he was an unused substitute away to Valencia in the Champions League.

During his loan spell at Getafe, Greenwood scored ten goals and provided six assists in 36 appearances.

Greenwood has one year remaining on his contract at United, with the club having the option to extend his contract by a further year.

In 129 appearances for United, Greenwood scored 35 goals and provided 12 assists.

In 2022, Greenwood was charged with attempted rape, assault and coercive behavior. He denied all the allegations.

In February 2023, the Crown Prosecution Service dropped all charges against Greenwood after key witnesses withdrew from the proceedings.
