Nuneaton lives amid huge cordon after ‘police incident’

A huge cordon has been thrown around part of Nuneaton town center as part of a ‘police incident’. Police tape surrounds the area from Iceland to the McDonald’s on Queens Road.

Unconfirmed reports on social media that a stabbing took place. Police at the scene confirmed only that there was an “incident last night”.

The large cord is set to stay in place for most of the day. There are stage guards near Iceland and also at the intersection with
Stratford Street as well as by WH Smith.
