Missing Liskeard man found 40 miles away

Devon and Cornwall Police have confirmed that missing man Trystan Harris, who left his accommodation in Liskeard on foot, has been found – 40 miles away.

Concerns for Trystan’s welfare were raised after he was last seen on Thursday evening, June 6, leaving accommodation in the town before heading towards the A38. He was known to like areas of Devon and had previously visited the Plymouth, Ivybridge and Yealmpton areas.




Police pointed out that while he was only on foot, Trystan was “fit and agile and able to walk long distances”

Fortunately, Trystan was spotted at around 1.10am today, June 9, in the Ashburton area of ​​Devon. He was picked up by police and returned to the care of support workers.

Devon and Cornwall Police offered their thanks to everyone who helped share the call and alerted police to potential sightings.
